Would there still be coho and spring in Chehalis on the coming weekend?
-
Yes, but not in large numbers. Although there has been many posts on this Forum as well as the other two BC forums about how poor this year's Fall salmon fishing season was, there are still many posts indicating reasonably good success. There are cohos in the Chehalis right now and a few older springs and LOTS of boot chums the odd chrome one.

The chehalis is just starting up....I catch the majority of my fish there wayyyyy later

A report I got today things were slow there for the most part.
-
It's true Chris. I was there today. Had a good chat with some guys on the water! The fishing was very slow for coho today. Lots of chums - most of them dark. Managed to take home one nice hatchery coho though. :) However, I'd say that most of the guys on the water, myself included, found it pretty difficult.

can you fish the mouth of the chehalis in a boat or is it better to go top end of the river and use roe and wool?
