The Canucks just picked up a new goalie. Maxime Quellet from Washington for a 5th round draft pick. I don't know much about him, yet!!!

Maime Quellet (http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/bio/?id=1895&hubname=)
Not a lot of NHL experience, better AHL stats than Auld. Not a bad depth player to pick up while Cloutier is out, plus we can send him back down and avoid waiver issues.

Yeah that is what I was thinking Biff. I just looked up his Bio. He was selected 22nd overall in the 1999 entry draft by Philly. He set an AHL record for most Shutouts in a year with 10. He also lead the AHL in save percentage with I believe .929. Not a bad pick up, I wonder how he will do once he gets his chance to play!!

Hes a guy that has more experience than McVicar. Thats it. Once Clouts is back hes on the farm. Nothing more than a stop gap.
