You really need some new material af :D   And please explain how the recent protests have, in your words, been very effective?   I was in the Chilliwack Superstore this morning and people are still buying farmed salmon.  People want fresh, not frozen fish and farmed salmon provide that.

I don't think we have an expectation that the protests will be 100% effective. The lack of knowledge about feedlot salmon is prevalent. Every person that learns a little more about the feedlots will at least think about it before they reach for a slab of that stuff..... many will buy something else.

Maybe this will help us better understand AF:

You need to find yourself a fresh source of "science".

And some more news:

http://actforaquaculture.ca/reflect/we-wouldnt-eat-sick-fish-either-and-were-not-no-one-is/

From one of the articles......  "No one is trying to sell you “sick” fish. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency does not allow sick fish into our food supply."

If the ISA infected fish are not "sick" why is there a 100% chance of them dying before they reach maturity? Why do they need to be "quarantined"?

Talk about spin.....

Did you witness the sampling procedure? If so can you tell us a bit about their protocols .. ie. dry ice, perhaps liquid nitrogen or perhaps just some bottles with liquid ... anything?
