Burke starting to weave the team as Gerber is the first star tonight in the win over Washington,the rolling continues. ;D ;D ;D

I picked up Gerber in the hockey pool. Was pulling for a shutout tonight and for the rest of the season (since they don't play the Canucks between now and then). But don't take that as me being a Leafs fan. LOL

I think Burke did a good job yesterday, including the move for Kolzig + other injured players. Turns that extra cap space into a draft pick.

Actually the two teams with the best Past Ten record (8-2-0) are the NJ Devils and the Vancouver Canucks.

But, if you look at the last 13 games it would be the Canucks at 11 for 13.
BTW, the newspaper this morning had Calgary at 7-2-0-1

Are you sure Gerber is the man? 3 goals against on 13 shots so far. Looks more like a siv LOL Does he know how to cover the five hole? 2 goals on breakaways and both through the five hole.

They've been getting good draft picks under John Ferguson's watch and look where it got them. Another year out of the playoffs. :D
