Hi guys, it's been a few years since I've been there. And about a year since the last post regarding this water, from my search. Is it still there, and fishable? I seem to remember some talk that it would be drained due to "development". Any input on this? Thanks.

Walked around the lake almost two weeks ago. There was more water than I have seen in previous visits but nothing like it used to be. I would say not enough water for any trout stocking. Good memories fishing there.

Thanks glx. Maybe just coarse fish there now, if that...

Its too bad it was allowed to turn into what it is. It was a good local fishing hole. :-\

Agreed. I enjoyed it a few years ago. :'(

I heard from some forums somewhere (maybe this one) that it holds bass, carp, and perhaps crappies?

Interesting... I may give it a go for bass. If they're there, it must have been "bucket biology", which is a concern.

very true, but in a place like stokes pit, no harm done really. It's a neglected pond, with no inlet or outlet (I think).

Probably right. :)

You can all thank Dianne Watts for this.

Thank her for what exactly? The bass? or not sustaining the pond?
