Does any company sell a multi-piece centre-pin style rod?

about $200 though I'll will spend 20 to 30% more to get what I want. Looking for something for the Chilliwack etc suitable for steelhead coho. Use with an older silex so has to be suitable for the weight of the reel and 15 to 20lb line.

Why not just get a 2 piece rod

Most people want a four piece because its smaller and easier to carry in or for travelling. You can break down a four piece and put it in a backpack which makes it easy for when you have to do allot of hiking.

Why not just get a 2 piece rod

big reason for me is a 4 piece will go into the trunk of a small car away from prying eyes. But I bought a GL2 this afternoon! :)
