Good report with lots (excessive maybe?) of detail. I think you have should picked a different title. While I recall your hairstyle, flat easily turns into fat in my mind.

I think we have all had trips that were duds in terms of our fishing expectations. Only other comments I have is include some streamers in your fly boxes. Bulls may be more interested in a big meal. Also if you spook a good fish or get a short strike, rest the water for a while, say 15 minutes or even a few hours, go back, be stealthy and try again.
