Post by: Rodney on June 07, 2005, 10:00:44 PM
Hi Everyone,

Ministry of WLAP is requesting volunteer support for solid fertilizer placement into the Seymour River. This will involves moving 20 or so 15lb bags into various locations into the Seymour River. This project is part Nutrient Enrichment Program currently being undertaken in partnership with Seymour Salmonid Society, WLAP, GVRD and DFO.

Date: Sunday June 12th

Time: 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Looking for about 4 volunteers or so. If interested, please let me know. email: jamesweger@shaw.ca

Seymour Hatchery is able to provide waders to those that don't own their own.

Thanks for the help,

James Weger
Volunteer Coordinator
Seymour Salmonid Society
