while each boat has a 345 quota, there is a quota pool for a boat to access if fishing is good and they get their quota early enough in the opening.  There is plenty of quota not being fished so the only thing decreasing the number of boats will be actually the success rate of each boat with guys not going if fishing is poor and they can't make fuel & wages

I saw a commie boat strung right across the mouth of the Stave yesterday. Probably did alright...

River up a foot and still rising,visibily around a foot in the canal at dark. Some coho still in the system early morning.

Wow, river rose again overnight. Combined with the rain and Hawaiian Express will do that to the flow, will be a wipe out today for most of us.

there were a cpl of salmon attached to a line...? were you fishing...pretty strong current

Some photos from October, hopefully we have a couple more weeks of reasonably good fishing left once the river comes back to shape this weekend.

Not my cup of tea, I seldom fish above the crossing as I like the lower, especially when I live 5 minutes away. Beside the ones you see on the line another angler had them on a line alive, high grading?  This is illegal so I said to dispatch them.

It amazes me when I post this hundreds of people read it, why do others not do the same as I am not at the river every day. I need to get Rod to pay me for every hit this thread gets.lol
