um center pin.... dumb question, is that a fly reel? Hmmmmm I just came into some "easy" money. Some days I love being a computer geek ;)
-
A centerpin reel is a free spooling reel that is primarily used for float fishing in rivers. The Islander Steelheader centerpin reel retails for $350 to $400.

I know a guy who got a halibut (23 lb I think) on one, not sure what he was doing with a reel like that in the chuck, had it on a lami drift rod too. Quite impressive really.
I'm still wokring on getting it in the mail... ::)
-
You're mailing me a 23lb halibut? :o
Going in the chatroom now.
-
The subscription, you take halibut ?
-
After I buy a new car door, both of mine have been busted, passenger doesn't have a working window or inner door lock. depending how much cash left over I'll hunt you down Rod :)
-
Take your time Spudcote. There's lots of time. Lots of things to do before mailing in your cheque. For instance,go fishing, tie some flies, file your income tax etc. etc.
-
Hey Dan... you might aswell go ahead and buy that reel.. cause I am gonna win this one lol ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Rod being a subscriber do we have to submit something to you or are you automatically entering all subscribers yourself.......
Hey Bill, everyone who has subscribed to this point is automatically in the draw. :)
-
Haha good one thickrick, just wait after i win ill be sure to RUB it iN!! ;)
-
Well, since I don't have a pin rod, or the money to buy one right now, when I win the reel, I think that I might give it away!!!!!
Not!!!!!
-
Ok. Heres the deal, I've been told im getting a raise soon. If i get it before the due date for the draw i will subscribe.
-
you can give it to me if you want.... but I am pretty sure I am gonna win it anyway
-
Hey ThickRick, you got a boat?? If you do, when I win it, we could talk!!!

Darn....I guess I can always go single if I really want that reel...hmm.... ;D
only if i get to pick the name..
The name on my soon to be winners reel? Sure, why not, what name do you have in mind? :D ;)
-
Why so much trouble? Just ask Rod to give you his Islander. ;)
-
What is his is mine already ;D
According to Rodney I am exempted from entering the draw, which means some other lucky boy or girl will win that super nice reel ;)
-
Like ME!!!!! Allready got the gold one so why not the silver!!!!!!!!! ;D
-
Bump!
We are just a bit more than halfway through March, so you guys and gals have two more weeks to subscribe at the early bird rates. Anyone who subscribes before May 1st will be in the draw but the subscription fees will be $20/year or $35/two years starting April 1st.
We are at around 40 subscribers now.
