Any body fish sasamat on the fly?
I used a chronomid off the floating dock 2 weeks ago but only hooked into one.

have they stocked sasamat lake lately ?  In the past they would stock it in the fall with good size trout so they would survive the winter. About 2or 3 weeks after the stocking you could see them rising everywhere you look.

Yes, it was stocked with catchable fish a few weeks ago.  Go here:

This time of year I've had success with leaches.  Dragonfly and scud patterns should not be overlooked.

did ok there last week. using big, fat, peacock herl carey specials and bloodworms.  asked a guy who killed one if i could see the stomach contents... out of curiosity. they were feeding on microscopic clear chironomids. i guess they would have to be less than size 24...
