Rivit repair on a 14' Harbourcraft
« on: September 03, 2014, 01:56:27 PM »

I have a 14' Harbourcraft that has 2-leaking rivits right in one of the cross braces. Cannot use sealer in this case. Does anyone know of a person or dealer that can do rivit repairs. Any help would be very much appreciated. 8)

I couldn't find someone local, so I reset some leaking rivits on my 12' Harbourcraft using one of those little auto hammers from Canadian tire.  I used the auto hammer on the inside, while having someone buck the rivet on the outside.  We used a small sledge for a bucking bar, just make sure you are both on the same rivet...
