Title: Looking for Info on Old Fishing Kit

A coworker of mine brought in a box of fly fishing stuff last week. It's an old bamboo rod, along with a reel and a bunch of lures. All of the boxes say the tackle and lures were made in either Canada or the US (imagine that!). Can anybody provide an approximate idea of age or any other info? My coworker is curious. He doesn't know where it came from, just that it's been in his shed for many years. The reel has ALCAN on it.
