Title: WTB - Any Rod-builders want to refinish a fly rod?
Post by: wookie on March 09, 2017, 01:21:32 PM
As a part of the fishing program I volunteer for, I received a Hardy Sovereign 7wt, 9'6" from "flyrod" on the forum that is in good shape but has some of the blank finish/gloss peeling from it.

I was hoping someone who knows how to repair this sort of thing could help me restore the blank so that the boys I take out have a good coho/steel stick to use!

Will pay for time and materials of course.....let me know if anyone is interested, there's no immediacy for the repair but I am hoping to get something started sooner than later.

Thanks in advance!
