Title: Matzuo Sickle Hooks
Post by: Nuggy on January 06, 2007, 10:14:53 PM
Does anyone know of a local supplier in the Lower Mainland who carries Matzuo sickle hooks in siwash, octopus or weighted jig head style? I can`t get into the Matzuo website to look for local suppliers.

Has anyone been using Matsuo sickle hooks? If so how are you liking them?

I have the Matsuo sickle siwash on spinners and spoons but haven`t tested them on any fish. I am interested to try some of their sickle octopus hooks this steelhead season.

Cheers

I've heard of good reports about the sickle hooks. When I was in Berry's a month ago I asked for them but they didn't carry them.

Canadian Tire is the only place that will carry them. They come from a distributor in Ontario called Maurice. It's their own private brand of hooks.

Thanks for the replies FF and RS1, I will give the bigger Canadian Tire store a look by my place and see what`s available.
