Hard to believe someone can afford a boat like that , but still attempt to steal traps and or crab , the cost of the fuel for the day is more than the cost of the trap , my god show some self respect

Hey boating is expensive. You have to try and cover the costs someway or another! After getting busted these winners probably jetted back to the marina to siphon some gas from the moored boats there.

We need some sort of sting operation. Set out some literal honeypots to catch lowlifes like this in the act.

These poachers broke practically every law on the books and knew exactly what they were doing. Hope they receive maximum fines and penalties.

Someone should post these articles at places like Cates Park, Belcarra. That'd make some people think thrice about doing something like this. The McBarge too - that area looks prime for some "ignorance of the rules".

Hopefully the sentencing judge gives them the maximum fine

Innocent until proven guilty.

The accused, Sivakumaran Sellathurai, 37, and Sirpavan Kandasamy, 38 , made an initial appearance in North Vancouver provincial court Wednesday. They are facing four counts each for violation of federal and provincial fishing regulations.

Buuuuuuuut I thought I would keep their names circling various places on the internet for all to see.

Dirtbags, allegedly.

The second article says two men have been fined $3300 , no names , the first article says the two men are due back in court April 29 , sounds suspiciously like the same two .....
