Pictures taken Sunday at Chilliwack River Hatchery of early timing chinooks.

Yes, there was two others as well, they most likely picked them up at the Limits Hole. ::)

did u see the sockeye, or the steelies chris? there are quite a few reds with wool stuck in em.
No I missed seeing them if they were there. I believe the sockeye in the system are Chilliwack Lake stock.

pretty dark looking fish, goes to show they have been in the river a while !  They don't dirty up that fast  , as i have caught tons in the tompson and bridge river that are White chrome !  also last  october i got a chrome red in october and my buddy got one the next day as well .  There arent many of these fish and they like to hunker in the DEEP fast flows that are often overlooked, they also don't really stack until they are stale and black ! use their sisters eggs in red hot double the size of a golf ball with a green or chrome red corkie  and a 15"leader  spread out , just cause you can't see em means the clean ones are there !

I have heard of the odd clean one that have been taken in the Lower River. My sources say most have slipped through now, not sure of that though.
