That's how they roll there, the Kenai Penn was a crowd of snaggers. Then I got to kodiak island and it was the same thing, all fly snaggers like this guy.

Awesome fishing though once you get away from them which is easy as they are lazy..

I like the guy with the short leader.  Never have I seen that trick before. 
Not sure if this is right, but I thought someone told me, or I read that snagging/flossing/sweeping/bottom bouncing however you want to call it, but swinging your line into a thousand salmon like seen in another alaskan fishing video is encouraged due to an over abundance of the particular salmon and it actually helps them find better spawning grounds?
