How to abuse a fish 101.  :-X

How about trying to use both hands to fight the fish instead of being pre-occupied with your second gopro camera trying to become a youtube star. Then lets carry it 20ft up onto the shore so we can get a video of it up out of the water. Not trying to be a debbie downer but thats a great way to mistreat a trophy fish that deserves more respect than that.

Looked dead at the end... pretty sure he killed it.
Must be a catch and kill fishery wherever he is.

I didn't really care much for the video... too much bouncing around and such.
I totally agree with you, unless you have the camera mounted in some way or have some one else to take a vid, just use both hands and get a pic of it after the fight...

The guy likely knew what he was doing and the fish that he was targetting in that water.
I would have fought that fish no different then he had, If I knew it was a huge trophy going on the table, which that fish did.
Seeing the size of that fish at the end, how could anyone plan on controlling it? He knew it was a huge fish when he first felt it and that determined the length of time and the softer playout of the fish. Not everyone uses 15 lb leader... I would not judge him not knowing all the facts, In fact im jealous of him, ha. I thought the video was sick and this mofo had some balls.

...and the one-handed fight had more to do with the fact he was scrambling over rocks down the river in swift water and used the other hand to grab whatever he could to keep himself from "swimin' with the fishes."  I didn't get the sense he was too worried about the filming at all, more like he was concerned about following that fish down the river.  I didn't care much about the video either as that was all it was, him chasing a big fish down the river.
