Post by: DragonSpeed on April 07, 2013, 05:11:59 PM: Out at Reifel, the marsh wrens were building and calling like mad. Many of the Northern ducks were already flying away, but a few other regulars also made an appearance, resulting in an interesting walk.

We definitely have a dominant male that has claimed the feeder and it's fun to watch him chase off the other males. Here are a few shots of our smallest feathered visitors.

Nice! I always wondered why the varied thrush is the only thrush who's song and call don't vary ;-)
