  I am needing some help trying to find a good lake to fly fish that is not to crowded and is under 3.5 hr drive from burnaby. Thanks

Unless your day tripping good luck getting a spot anywhere from Vancouver to anywhere in the Cariboo unless you know some out of the way lakes. Those lakes wont be mentioned on any of these forums though.

If going for the day you might want to hit one of the larger lakes just so you can atleast get some water. A lake like Roche, or Tunkwa

Try liley lake just out side of merrit its been good and not to busy.

thanks but I should have been more clear. I mean lakes that are still in the lower mainland and take less then 3.5hr to get to.

 I  have narrowed it down to either rolly or sasmat. I am leaning more towards sasmat because i can use my small inflatable boat.

Rolley is pretty small too, both are worth trying.
