Title: Rod Repair

My neighbor has a damaged eye (the ceramic went missing somehow) and needs to get the rod fixed up (can't remember what brand it is, but it's a half decent rod) and doesn't know where to go that would be good.  He doesn't want to trust it to just any Joe Rodfixerupper off the street.  Suggestions/recommendations??

I think it would be faster to go to your local tackle shop....I think that replacing and eyelet will run you around $12 if I remember correctly.

if you are in vancouver west coast tackle does a very good job .they are on hastings between victoria dr. and nanaimo st.

We're in Langley but the rod is his 'baby' so I don't think he cares where he has to drive to!  :D

Any tackle shop will replace the guide for about $8.
Brian Ford does an immaculate job 604 254 0004
I've been told that Terry @ Reaction Baits does nice work as well.

drop it into steveston marine in langley, have jakob send it to me at the Vancouver store. you will have it back in no time for very reasonable price. As we do not yet have advertising rights on this site... yet...  i can not quote prices but you can call me 604 733 7031 ask for Thomas (fish dept manager). Full service rod repairs and custom builds are one of my specialties and i was a former rod repair and builder for Berry's Bait.
