I have two of the discontinued "Classic" models.Only issue I have is anglers international that owns Raven won't sell me parts (clicker pawl/clicker knob) insisting I ship it to them for repair  :o .Possibly no charge for the repair but would cost for shipping both ways  :P .........except for my first one having the retaining nut back off the clicker a couple of times they have performed very well.......(http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r79/Spoonman_05/P3230012_zps8d8b7b3d.jpg) (http://s141.photobucket.com/user/Spoonman_05/media/P3230012_zps8d8b7b3d.jpg.html)

I bought the Raven SST3 for my first pin. Can't really compare it to any of the higher end reels but the SST3 is build well, super light, spins forever when the tension screw is backed all the way off. The tension screw sure is nice for a first timer like me I thought. I looked at a lot of the lower end end reels from the other companies and nothing really compared within that price range... :)
