Tidal Fraser River, August 11th 2012
« on: August 11, 2012, 10:28:14 PM »

Hit up the faaaaaaar north part dump bar in east Richmond in the early afternoon, hiked up farther alongside the containers than I usually do as some dogs off leach wouldn't leave me along.

Really quiet, then Huge Hit! Thought this was the Spring that got away on me earlier in the week.. nope!

I got into a sturgeon off my roe bag! Was about 3 feet long, didn't take it out of the water so I can't be too sure. REALLY special thanks to the fellow (that unfortunately didn't speak English, I hope he got my sincerity on the thanks) that seemed to come out of nowhere with the laughable (sorry) size net for the fish that held his face away from the rocks while I could safety take out my hook!

Rest of the day was course fish stealing my roe.

I have a pick of the fish but I cant figure out how to upload a pic... can anyone help me?

I think you need to upload your pic to a web hosting site like photobucket and then copy the link to your post. Hope this helps, congrats that is quite the by catch!!

click "Additional Options... " at the bottom in the editing page,
it will expand and you will see an area where you can attach your pictures

cheers!
