I seem to have pretty good luck with wool

What is the advantage of Roe?

It has scent which is a big advantage when you're fishing murky waters.

Wool is good for current and non-finicky fish.  Roe is also nice if you're slow on the trigger.  The fish seem to hold onto it a little longer.

Each has it time and place!

Roe doesnt work all the time and same with wool!


Wool is nice as you dont smell like a fish plant at the end of the day!

Like said above each has it's time and place , But I like to use Wool trimmed very neat to the size of 1 egg , then dab some scent on it every couple of casts .
