Never tried it, not sure where to get it.  It might be worth your time to just order some from the internet.

I use Johnny's salmon seasoning on everything, when you buy it, it comes on a cedar plank with a dressing and a season salt...it's excellent stuff, wish you could buy the cedar planks separate too, man, nothing makes for tasty salmon like one bar b q  on a cedar plank... :o

You can buy cedar planks separately.  Check out a good kitchen supplies place.  If I remember correctly, Gourmet Warehouse in Vancouver has them, not that it does you any good.

go to the lumber store and buy an untreated plank of cedar.  It'll cost you a fraction of what one costs you at a grocery store.
