Title: Commercial opening on the Fraser?
Post by: Dude on August 10, 2015, 06:47:05 AM
Yesterday I was driving by the river in richmond and I noticed that there were tons of commercial boats out with the Nets so I assume there was a opening? And was it for sockeye? I thought it wasn't open  yet.  Nice day for a drive by the water  :)

The natives have been netting the Fraser lately. I talked to some natives yesterday, and they were complaining that they weren't getting fish.  Seems to be the common theme this year.  They are still waiting for rain.
