Its a 'kingfisher' - I'm told its a nice reel. Never used a baitcaster before and was told CP is the way to go, especially if starting from scratch. I'll keep on trying. Thanks for all the advice ,for a newbie like me, its good to know help is out there.

 I do understand what you mean regarding the 'feel'. Caught a nice coho on it, and felt excellent to play! Think a large angry chum may be a hand full! Cheers, S
