I havent been out in a week, So i'm not sure if its gotten better or worse, all i know is the water is incredibly low now, would it be worth just waiting till the rain next week to head out?

Well... I wussed out this whole week because of the 20km+ winds (equals cold), also since I ran into a deer in November and am car-less, I would have had to rent a car as well...but the thought "I should have gone out" crosses my mind each day.

This may be a case of: "it's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't"

Was out all week, water is low and gin clear. Haven't seen a fish since last sunday, better to wait till it warms up and we get some rain. Pretty much the same from top to bottom, water looks great but lacks the fish.

With the heavy dump next week the tune will change to blown out conditions. 2 of the days have an estimated 50mm accumulation per day & the other 3 days 15- 30mm
Time to dust of the heavy gear!!

glad I'm not the only one who want rain!  The sooner the frozen dirt in the mountains are gone, the happier I'll be, I just want to go dig holes in the woods and play bikes

@CohoMan, thanks for the update! I've been waiting for the water to rise. I was busy tying roe bags today and was planning on making the drive out from Van for the heck of it. Wasn't sure how dirty it'd be getting. Looks like your shot was on the lower river??
