Anyone Lose a Camera?
« on: January 26, 2007, 01:00:14 PM »

Chris found a camera today at the Lickman road parking lot at the Vedder, around 12:30 pm. If you think it's yours post some details and we'll get it to you.

Cheers,
George

After finding the camera I found Buckeye at home and he was good enough to post it as I was on my way fishing and not near a computer, as 2:40 said. On the way to the river I stopped at Fred's Custom Tackle to see if anyone had been in looking for it.

I said there was a picture of an angler with a nice steelhead, the picture was dated today. Rob said bring the camera in maybe I will recognize the angler. Sure enough he did and then showed me a picture of the chap on a brochure, wearing the same hat that was in today's picture on the camera.

Rob said he knew who the chap was fishing with and would make the phone call. I headed fishing confident my good deed would get me a fish. On the way back for a coffee break I stopped to see if they had indeed found the owner, they had and the camera was owned by a third person fishing with them so we got it back to the owner in short order I donot even think they knew they had lost it. ;D

I knew the owner as well and will expect a coffee at Tims, at least with a donut thrown in too. ;D ;D

I fished to dark with no fish but the water was looking good for the weekend anglers. I also heard of a few fish taken so they are around. Good luck

I don't know Chris,

Saving his camera alone would get you coffee and donuts, but saving his picture of a nice steely is at least worth a case of beer.
