So I'm heading up there at the end of this month for work, and was wondering about the fishing there. All I could find just glancing through google was charters and ocean fishing, what about inland?
Should I bring flyrods? What is there to target?

lots of good fishing up there, the skeena and its many tribs has good salmon and steely fishing in season, kitimat and terrace afford lots of angling opportunities, and there are many small lakes and streams with good trout fishing. explore and enjoy

Would love to explore but having limited time after work kinda kills that so...anything within PR would be great

Bring a 6 wt and an 8 or 9!
Off most of the creeks you will find sea run dollies feeding like crazy on fry.
Spring steelheading used to be ablsolutely fantastic (at least when I worked up there..20 years ago...).
Most lakes have decent cuttie and dolly fishing.
All within 20 min to 1 hour and a half away from downtown Prince Rupert.
If I give any locations people will go nuts

Not to freak you out or anything, or you likely already know working up there, but if Prince Rupert is anything like Terrace, I'd bring bear spray along with your rod.
