Title: Seton lake in Lillooet,BC
Post by: Julian on April 18, 2016, 01:05:44 PM
Has any one had any success in fishing this lake? And if so what do I use? This is just a query, has anyone heard of sturgeon being caught in this lake? Thanks.

I lived in Lillooet for just under a year.  Fished a few times right off the dock there and caught a few decent rainbows.  Tossing out crocs and blue fox's etc.  Trolled it once and got skunked.  But I never really went at it hard.

"heard of them in seton lake in lillooet my grandma used to run the sport shop and a guy used to come in looking for bigger hooks because they were always being bent on his set lines in seton"

From the huntinginbc forum.

I have also caught a couple small rainbows right of the beach by the inflow of the small drainage pipe.

Driving thru some years ago & went on the dock & put in a baited hook with sinker.
Everything was peaceful & BAM my rod was just bending. Basically within 5 seconds the line broke.
Whatever it was it was big & powerful.
