Hey guys!
Threw together a little short film that I filmed solo this winter over the course of 3 days and a lot of hiking. I made it for a blog post I was working on, but plan to post the entire winter blog series in another thread once I've finished one more (short one this year).
Anyway, lemme know what ya think of the short vid!

Very well put together, I thoroughly enjoyed it :D

Short and sweet. Love the music. Lots of hard work I imagine. Thanks for sharing......and not telling.

Not telling anything is pretty much a given for me. I'll take most places to the grave. I'm still a firm believer that if you've never been somewhere, you won't recognize it from a video.
Glad everyone is enjoying it :)

Nice. But aren't you supposed to be using a spoon.... ;) ::)

Those creeks look very low and clear. Spoon would probably spook those fishes.

Thanks ED. Enjoyed that.
Would those be anadromous ct?

Yes. Sea runs for sure. Bigger ones then that in some of the larger lakes on VI.

You're right, I should be! I do like to flick around a fly rod every once in a while though.

We did Chuck some metal. It worked as well. Very aggressive fish. A small spoon would have likely worked very well. Spinners also worked.
Thanks ED. Enjoyed that.

Always hard to tell on the island honestly. I've seen resident fish that large in some rivers and lakes. In this case, I'd likely say they weren't based on coloring and location.
