Hope your business trip went well , sure missed you at this site.   Where abouts at Garry Point Park were you at.  I was there and saw a sturgeon about 3 feet jump up.  Wasn't sure if it was a stugeon or not.  Have you seen sturgeons there before?

i was at the little slough or whatever you would call it. it was very fun although they are small i did catch some 10 inchers. lol I was surprised there was fish there cause it was low tide. i wasn't aiming for them but thats all i could seem to hook. no i havent seen a sturgeon jump out before at garry point. when were you there big t? did you do any fishing?

That particular point where you were fishing is a pretty nice spot for bull trout. That's probably what you saw rising last week. I've spun over there before and have had hooked many bull trout during low tide when the current is slow. :)

thank you Rodney. I've always wanted to hook a good sized fish out of fraser that wasn't a salmon :) I did try a float but only got one bullhead. I guess i didn't use it long enough as my fishing buddy was catching and releasing bullhead after bullhead. Temptation was too much so i changed into his setup. bottom fishing
