A chap has given me one to sell at te FVSS tackle Sale on Nov. 3. Any idea what I should sell it for? Is in good shape too. ;D

take a look at Craigslist and see what they are posted around and then judge based on condition. If i remember right i have seen them range from like $160-300 but that also ranges during the time of year it seems  ::)

post up a pic or two and im sure you will get a few more answers Chris

Love these reels and just picked a well used one up but people asking $300 on Craigslist are out to lunch. I have bought and sold a number of Grice and Young Reels and you will get max $200 for a minty one and $120-160 for one in good shape.

I brought my  new G&Y Avon Royal Supreme (red handle) back in 1974 for $39.99. Gave you idea how much it worth back then.

Got mine at Army and Navy in the 70's for around $15, still using it. Nick tells me the reel I will sell at the tackle sale is a older model. Says worth at least $200.

I paid $190 for mine.  Used, in reasonable condition.

Thanks, I think we can get $225 for this one. The fellow that gave it to me to sell for him said I could have it for $100 but to me that would not have been a fair price.

I should buy it myself but still attached to my 40 year old.  ;D
