Hi there Rick and everyone else. Yep Derby Day is near and I am looking forward to it as much, if not more than last year. You can pencil me in as bringing two bags of big asse shrimp for dipping (or jus chompin on) and some Golden Dipt shrimp sauce. As well my wife is going to make a batch of her special devilled eggs, yummy for the tummy. Hope to see a large turnout and some familiar faces, see you there. :D ;) :D

looks good so far guys... looks like we have a good number of people coming but only a few have responded as to what food they are bringing, I would really appreciate it if you could respond as itr will make my life much easier :)

I talked to Frank from the SDA tonight and he will be up around 2 as I believe Rick you wanted to present the proceeds to him as you did last year, to Dave from CRAC. I have another cold like I did last year at the same time of year so not sure if I want to come up and give it to you all. As well not sure if I can take the razing of my Leafs, once again. ;D ;D ;D
It looks like you have a good event going and thanks for all your work on it.
-
Thx for talking with Frank for me, 2 o clock is perfect , this way he will get a chance to fill up on some food too :)
I really hope you will make it out this year Chris.. at least I hope you make it to the weigh in and lunch, don't worry we will have coffee and a nice warm fire for you :)
I promise I won't personally razz you about your team lol I can't vouch for everyone else there though ;)

I am bringing my full size BBQ, but if someone can bring a second it would be great, even if it is just to keep the cooked food warm

Man what will our derby be like without your chili ??? I was hoping this would be a Derby tradition :)
see what you can do, if you don't have time I am sure we will still have more than enough food to go around

I'll see what i can do on the chilli. I'm coming in on a late flight saturday night from pheonix AZ, will give me only a few hours to get the chilli done and get the gear ready and be out the door by 4:30 to be at the derby sign in at 6:00.
Can i leave the chilli with someone in the mornin? can we keep it hot somehow? I forget what we did for that last year. Anyhow I'll do what i can... I'd hate to mess with tradition ;)
