Any news on if the pacific tom cod have enterred the fraser?  I know they haven't really showed up the last few years. :-\

They might have moved up north to spawn due to global warming....   ;D

Seriously, otherwise it is hard to understand why they disappeared altogether.  If the theory is that they have been overfished, then they should have declining number year after year, not total disappearance.  They disappeared 3-4 years ago and there have not been any meaniful fishery ever since.

You could be right or it's just they stopped coming into Fraser. I've caught a few of them over the just past summer in the upper sunshine coast.
