How heavy of a line test can a Sage 6 WT take?

You can go up to a 15lb test but that is pushing the limit. Be carefully how far you bend that rod.

Oh good. I was using 12 lb and really worried I might have pushed it too far.
But then haven't caught a good size fish on it yet so.... What am I worring about. ;D ;D

Hoping that will change soon. Not catching coho is bad enough, hopefully I'll get a decent
size salmon on the fly. Even chum I would be happy. :D

i use 6.4 tippet for lakes and streams and when im flyfishing in the salt, i use 12lb. flourocarbon, and 10lb. tippet for coho and pinks in streams

i just picked up a 6wt. sage and ross combo. good practice at the driving range getting used to it..i didn't think 6wt. could handle salmon???? could it be true???
