Thanks. Remember - for all the good shots you see - there are many that don't see the light of day :o

LOL... never be afraid. We're all here to share and enjoy!
p.s. your yellow is a bit over saturated in that shot. The top blows out. Lovely river sunset though, and you've done well to capture the feeling.

Stunning and vibrant colours in this. Did you do much work in post or did it just "happen"?

No editing done... that's the way they came out. I have started using underwater mode for sunset pics... really brings out the colours.

I spent a week for work in Phoenix last week.
No real chance to get out and see the scenery so I had to be happy with a couple of sunsets...

Wow! some really amazing shots in this section of the website. I really wanted to take some better quality photos, so I bought a canon G10 this summer. So far, I'm finding it really challenging to use it beyond it's point and shoot capabilities, but you get a few pretty good ones with every hundred you take. I was working at a remote exploration camp in Alaska this summer. Here are a few shots of the view from my tent. I found it really interesting that the scenery would change quite dramatically from day to day.

Fisherama - I like the "study in sunsets from a tent" series. Very nice. An interesting series.

Thanks DS, I think I had the best view in camp ::). Here's another pic that could go along in that series, although not a sunset photo.

I always see the best sunset on katcam (not to be confused with capcam).

Too bad capcam doesn't have a good view!
