lesson learned at chehalis nov.03
« on: November 03, 2005, 07:09:39 PM »

walked in from the hatchery and to my surprise an elder gent was walking away with 4 coho, he was in a real hurry and it was only 9:00 in the morning, something just seemed a little suspicous. Anyways the water level was way to low for much of anything to happen, I got there and hooked about 10 chums and was already getting bored, i put away the gammys and brought out the eagle claws, what a terrrible mistake, the next cast fish on, a real nice coho, had it on for about 10 seconds and the hook popped out of its mouth, or did it? I look at the hook and to my surprise its bent and now looks like an L instead of a U. What a piss off, thats the only ho i hooked or saw hooked all day. Ive said it once ill say it again " thats the last eagle claw I ever buy"  >:( :o :( :o
