Title: centre pin fishing
Post by: rickjames_2 on January 31, 2006, 11:01:24 AM: hey i have been fishing for about 4 years now using almost exclusively abu garcia levelwind reels. i was intrigued by my neighbours centre pin reel and took a few casts with it. it really does change the dynamic of fishing the river. just wondering if anyone would know what is a good centre pin reel to start with. thx ;)

Post by: kingpin on January 31, 2006, 04:42:27 PM: i have a few centerpins and yes they are great BUT there a bitch to reel in, it sucks getting roe on them, its harder to cast in tight places and your hands can get cold other than that tho they are great
