Title: NFR - Cigars
Post by: Splitshot on November 26, 2008, 03:11:51 PM
For those of you that are lighting up a cigar while on the river, what is your favorite cigar of choice? Where do you normally buy your cigars from and what kind of prices are you paying?

I don't think many people who live in BC need an explanation ;D as the recent global news report stated 18 percent of the entire Canadian population smoke it.

Monte Cristo #4 for the river, Romeo y Julieta Churchill for home. Most of mine come from Cuba, so good pricing. I brought up some Cohiba Esplendidos a bit ago but didn't like them as much as my R y J.

I'm pretty sad when it comes to tobacco. I chew Scoal strait (although I havent bought a pack in 2 weeks), I smoke Canadian classic silver, and if i want something sweet its Cherry flavored bullseye

well yeah the grass is a must when the fishing gets good you put down the cold brew then give the head a shake and get in the game... good ol' flask of fireball or "palinka" hungarain for moonshine does the trick when your out on the river with no rain gear... back on topic  captain blacks are the best... its all a preference i suppose... take it easy all

i never understood the whole idea behind chewing. I have tried it once and cant say it makes sense smoking is so bad for your teeth to start with but chewing must be 100 times worse.

Editing out my graphic story... the summary is :

chronic chewers eventually develop some sort of head or neck, or gut cancers... not a nice way to go for sure.
