Someone's escaped corn snake? Got any pics?
Logitudinal stripes, or circumferal(word?) stripes?
-
hey dragonspeed, the stripes were longitudinal. sorry no pics
-
Yup longitudinal = likely garter snake. All kinds of sub species.

I too hate snakes. There may be kids reading this thread and they'll be having nightmares as a result of those pictures. ;D

Interesting that the snakes would have a different look down there. We have some resident garters in our back yard and their overall colour is so close to a rattlesnake! no rattle or big fangs though! Interesting!
-
Garter snakes come in a myriad of colours and patterns. Odd.
-
snakes taste good when grilled on the BBQ, with a little lime juice and plum dipping sauce.
whta?? i'm serious....!!! best grilled meat in the world - rattlesnake....... 8)
-
Garter snakes are a good measure of the health of an ecosystem. No snakes = bad :(
-
Hey adanac, when you where fishing on the brunette and caught an released a garter snake...I was curious, what type of pattern did it take, my guess is an ant pattern or some other type of terrestrial like that!!! PS - how was the fight. ;)

red snake with yellow stripes on it
Did you say it was in Surrey? Be careful around that snake, those are its gang colors.
Hey, my first post on here. That was fun. NEXT!!
