what do you collect?

Just wondering what fishing related items other members on the forum might collect? Some guys on the site collect floats, some centrepins, some guys like hardys, one day in the near future Im hoping to turn a room in our house into a "fishing room" and Ive been gathering a few things to put in the room. Currently Im working on three different collections, first is a good library of fishing and outdoor related literature"always something good to read on those days away from the flow", second thing Im working on is old shakespeare level wind reels. Ive always been fascinated with the evolution of this design, and admired the quality of workmanship on the older reels. And the last thing Im collecting at the moment are hand carved fish decoys, I just think they look neat. Once Ive finished with a few of the above collections Id like to maybe start a collection of weird fishing items.

whoa!! I Like collecting centerpins, However I constantly find myself selling and buying new ones ;D

I guess the only thing I collect are fishing pics!! :)  Only problem is, the rascals are gettin harder to catch every year!!  For variuos reasons of course!! :D

Better! It is a beautiful vintage reel with the original box from 50s or 604

I enjoy collecting fishing and outdoor magazines ,currently i have around 1000 different mags some dating back to the 1935 era,some i have read several times  and there is allways some good reference material on techniques and different areas to fish and hunt.

I think I have an old Shakespeare levelwind in Oregon I can let you have.  (I'll be there in about three weeks).  In those days I was partial to Langley levelwinds, of which I have a couple, one of which is still set up to use.

I collect centrepins,got about 120 or so, ::) with a few exceptions levelwinds have very little value, :)

these days I am collecting dust as my fishing partner moved and I don't like to explore rivers by myself...my 5 month old son would not be pleased if daddy didn't come home from fishing...

that being said I am looking for a new fishing partner in the Vancouver area.
