Water Levels on the Skagit
« on: August 29, 2012, 08:27:33 PM »

Looking at heading up to my favorite fishing spots next week.  Does anyone have a recent report on the water levels up there.

Have heard it is good. Was gonna head out today, but I have never been before, and I didnt want to go alone. Buddy system until I at least know the area!

Smart thinking as you are in the middle of nowhere and to get to some of the best areas you need to know the river.

True. If you wouldnt mind a partner, Id be willing to pitch in on gas and fish with you. Would be great to head out with someone who knows the water. If so, email me at danbaraniuk@gmail.com

Its not that bad, Just take a Gps with you and mark the spots to come out on prior to wading down the river. Take some bear spray to just in case. I go alone all the time.
