Title: Bull Trouts
Post by: Double Underhooks on May 30, 2005, 11:34:17 AM
Hello all,

Just had some noobie questions for the bulltrout experts...

I've seen quite a few bull trouts jumping in the lower fraser and was wondering why they are jumping. Are they eating other fishes or is there some other reason why they are surfacing?

As well,  should I be setting my bait at the bottom of the river or float fishing. If float fishing, how many feet should my bait be from the surface? I'm guessing spinners won't help under the current water visibility.

I haven't seen anyone around catch one of these guys and I'd like to hook one.

Thanks.
