Looking at trying the Skagit for springs this year. Talked with Holiday Sports ( tackle store in Mt Vernon) and they said the Skagit is open for springs from June 1 to July 9, has anyone got any information on this, is the fishing any better than on the Fraser.  The information I got is they back troll for springs, getting tired of bouncing and bar fishing does not have enough action for me, any input on others experiences would be helpful....
