Title: Lightning Lake, June 7th 2009
Post by: bcguy on June 08, 2009, 12:01:33 PM
Spent the weekend fishing Lightning Lake, was still a little snow around, and the run off into the lake is still strong, meaning the lake was still quite cool. It was non-stop action during the mid to late afternoon Saturday for Rainbow in the 6" to 14" range. Took most of them on damsel fly nymphs, using a floating line, 10 to 20 feet from shore.
Big Mayfly hatch happening as well, but had no luck with any Mayfly imitations ???
