Bass in the lower mainland

Where can i catch some ? I heard of a spot in the pitt meadows/maple ridge area (dont want to be super specific incase its a secret). Anyone know any ?

Its not my spot at all and i dont know if theres anything there. I heard a rumour that by pitt lake theres some ? I just didn't want to reveal someones top secret spot over the computer, but it looks like i might have ? I was hoping for someone to tell me somewhere where lots of people go that isnt so secret.

There's a couple of places in Abbotsfords that has bass....if you do some searches you'll find them. I used to fish before work, lunch time and after work there. Stopped bassin since the pinks came in. So, now, I've to fish for pinks after work.

The best beginner bass lake is walmsley lake in Abbotsford, located in Albert Dyck Park.  Lots of bass to practice on that will bite almost anything.  You can fish from shore almost anywhere around the lake and catch bass.  If you go there and do not catch a bass, I would be surprised.  My best outing one time was about 25 bass in a few hours.

 Thats the place i was talking about ! I've heard about it a few times but never understood where it was. Can you disclose or is it a secret ?

Not a secret as a spot, but where you find bass in it can be the secret.  ;D  It is probably easier to get your bass from the top 3 spots listed by gheart008.

I went there and did not catch a bass!
I guess I must have showed up at the wrong time of the day. Because as soon as I was leaving I saw a young boy catch one.

Unfortunately 6-8" for the numerous times I've been there. It's slooowww now. As I only caught one yesterday. The water is so low.
