Wow, most fish are paired up and are about to start spawning in Washington.  Sounds like they're not too romantic yet up there?

pics are in fish porn!! the rest is a secret!!! JK.

I started down low and worked my way up river today.I saw a fly fisherman leaving with a 10lbs fish right at about 7:15 am on the way to my first run.his day was short and sweet! The lower river seemed busy but i guess that's expected given that its a holiday. Fished about 12 different runs today and got to a nice piece of water at around 10:30 am with no one in sight. made about 20 casts or so and i let one drift a little further then usual to float past a big boulder and float sank fast! because it was so close to the boulder i thought it was a snag. Then after about 4 vicious head shakes i realized that was not a snag..it was an angry buck!  :o :o :o :o :o :o :o ;D :o :o :o :o :o the fight was exciting but short. he did a jump and and 3 or 4 rolls and cause he was hooked pretty close to shore it was easily guided in with the help of my buddy! i was shaking and smiling for 2hrs 45 min after that. the rain by then was coming down pretty good and the winds were fast! my friend kept working the run and i tried an attempt at making a fire but had minimal success. my buddy fished 4 more runs after that but nothing to show so we called it a day! It happens to be my buddy bday party tomorrow so i gave the fish to him to BBQ for his celebration Saturday night! I also will be there to take part. ;D ;D

here is pic of my first ever vedder steel. it only took 5 seasons to catch one. that's why i was so shocked when it wasn't a snag!

.. And I was being laughed at when I said I hadn't caught one in three years of trying.   ;)

Good on you Rhino... Congratz and nice pix.
